iPoker Says Goodbye and Hello

iPoker Says Goodbye and Hello

Wednesday, 7 November 2012

It’s been all change on the iPoker Network over the last two days as one site has departed and another one arrived.

On Monday SunPoker finally hit the rail after a sharp decline in traffic. Having been operational since 2002, the site wasn’t drafted into the iPoker’s upper-tier network after the split on September 1st. This accounted for a drop in number, something which has forced the site to cease operations. All remaining players will now be transferred to Omni Online Casino.

A parting email to players thanked them for “10 years of fun in the sun” and assured them that their balances will be transferred to Omni along with any bonuses and rewards they had.

As SunPoker left Betclic Everest announced their arrival on the network. Now serving players on both .com and .fr sites, Everest and Betclic will share their liquidity to create an all-round poker experience for their customers.

Commenting on the recent migration onto the iPoker Network, Betclic Everest’s CEO Ignacio Martos said: “We are pleased to offer the best of breed technology to our poker players. Larger liquidity and state of the art features will give our players a superior experience, in line with our strategy of offering nothing but the best to our community of players.”
