EPT London Main Event: Players on a break

EPT London Main Event: Players on a break

Sunday, 5 October 2008

The opening session has all been about Eric Liu, who is chip leader on about 1.66 million.

After losing the race with the AQ versus tens, Liu went right back on the offensive, meaning his chip lead is still looking robust. Michael Tureniec is in second place on 1,051,000.

The bottom of the chip count table is being propped up by Polishman Marcin Horecki, who is on just a shade under 400,000. Alan Smurfit is next shortest, on 601,000. The blinds are about to get very nasty indeed - expect some poker pain shortly.
