Zynga goes international – Facebook poker for Asian market

Facebook application No Limit Texas Hold ‘em by renowned gaming company Zynga is second only to Farmville on the most popular games available at the social networking site, attracting over 28,000,000 players to the free money games.
Now the company has gone worldwide – well, worldwider – by expanding the poker market to China and Taiwan. The game will be available in Mandarin and could see tens of millions more players competing for free on Facebook.
In Taiwan and Hong Kong, however, players will compete for real money in free tournaments. Also, they will be starting with 8,888 chips as the number eight is considered to be very lucky in the Far East.
Zynga’s poker is available on Facebook and in the Apple App Store for iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone.
