Zynga Launches Real Money Poker on Facebook

Zynga, the social gaming giant, recently released a real-money poker platform on Facebook. Following months of planning and falling stock prices, Zynga will now give its members a chance to rake in real pots with the help of PartyPoker.

Zynga initially entered the UK poker market last year with a self named poker room using bwin.party's software, but the latest move will see them offer real games through a fully integrated Facebook app.

This means punters will be able to play directly from their Facebook account and compete against players from the UK through PartyPoker's player pool and Zynga's British customers.

The move to integrate their real-money poker platform into Facebook seems to be a result of a continued downswing on the stock market. Despite still being one of the largest social gaming companies in the world, Zynga is no longer alone and has a lot of competition from the likes of King (Candy Crush) and Rovio (Angry Birds).
