Yet another Triple Crown for Moorman

Yet another Triple Crown for Moorman

Friday, 21 January 2011

Here at Bluff Europe Towers we'd be delighted to win three tournaments, on three different networks in the space of a week, just once. To manage it multiple times? That's just ridiculous. Well for mere mortals anyway but for UK tournament God Chris Moorman it's just another week at the virtual office.

The British pro managed his eleventh, yes that right eleventh, Pocket Fives Triple Crown last week after winning the UB.com $50,000 Guaranteed, the PokerStars $50 rebuy and the Full Tilt $60,000 guaranteed. There isn't a Quadruple Crown prize but if there was he would probably claim that too. All told the Brunson 10 pro pocketed almost $60,000 including another win in Full Tilt's $50 cubed event.

“It’s been a long time since I won my last one and so it was a bit of a shock that I actually managed to close it out on the last possible day this time.” said Moorman.

“I’m back enjoying poker and enjoying the challenge of the ever-changing game. I wasn’t enjoying it that much and was getting too frustrated when I lost, so I definitely didn’t play my A-game for a while last year. …just needed to cut my volume for a while and regroup; I came back a stronger player for it.”
