World Poker Tour heads to Ireland

The World Poker Tour has announced that it will be making its maiden stop on Irish soil in January 2012 in the form of WPT Dublin. The new €2,500 event will take place at the City West Hotel from 5th to 8th January and will be sponsored by 3D poker room PKR.com.

The new event will incorporate the Irish Poker Championship (formerly hosted in Galway) including the €750 Main Event.

The history and heritage of poker in the Emerald Isle make it a tremendous tour stop and the beautiful City West Hotel and all of its top-notch accommodations will make this a memorable event.”
