World Poker Tour Marrakech final table set

World Poker Tour Marrakech final table set

Tuesday, 30 November 2010

After two opening flights the field at the WPT Marrakech event sponsored by Chilipoker had reduced the starting field of 222 players to 82 remaining hopefuls looking to make it into the money at 27 players or even further to the final table.

Now the field has been whittled down to the final table of just nine remaining players. Germany’s Sebastian Hormann is leading the way in the chip counts followed closely by Dominik Nitsche . God was not dead for Nitsche, who found himself with less than 5,000 chips at one point during Day 2 only to make a huge comeback to the final table.

Play resumes today with blinds at 6,000/12,000 and a 2,000 ante. The first prize for the event is a cool €254,745 with each of the remaining players guaranteed at least €20,754. The chip counts for the final table are as follows:

1. Sebastian Homann - 1,539,000
2. Dominik Nitsche - 1,479,000
3. Guillaume Cescut - 956,000
4. Johan Williamson - 693,000
5. Sebastian Compte - 529,000
6. Guillaume de la Gorce - 516,000
7. Felix Oberauer - 499,000
8. Patrick Muleta - 244,000
9. Julien Labuissiere - 210,000
