Women Take to Online Gambling in UK

As Britain gears up for its first super casino, a gambling charity has released figures suggesting women in the UK have been seduced by online gambling. Gamcare claim that unregulated areas of the industry are seeing more and more women wager initially small sums, becoming more involved once they taste victory. It’s believed that online casinos are more tempting seeing as they are not seen as intimidating environments, like bookmakers or casinos. The charity is calling for greater regulation and responsibility from gaming sites in order to make sure players don’t develop problems.
