Winning big at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) normally requires great cards or a lucky bluff. Not anymore, according to FullContactPoker.com (FCP) who yesterday announced their 'Wear the name, share the fame' promotion, set to run throughout the 2006 WSOP.
FCP members who play in WSOP events have the chance to a share of potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars, just for wearing FCP apparel. FCP will match five percent of Daniel Negreanu's gross winnings, fresh off the back of his second place $325,000 prize at the 2006 WSOP Tournament of Champions, and award it to eligible FCP community members. With over 30 events remaining at this year's WSOP, Negreanu’s first win already guarantees $16,250 to FCP promotional participants.
'The promotion is FullContactPoker.com and Daniel's way of showing support for the FCP community,” said Henry Chu, president of Big Stack Enterprises. “We're thrilled that Daniel's gotten off to such a great start at this year's WSOP and that eligible FCP members have the chance to share in his success just by wearing FCP apparel.”
