The fourth bracelet of the 2011 WSOPE has been awarded in Cannes after online grinder Tristan “cre8ive” Wade defeated Mike “SirWatts” Watson heads-up for the gold at the final table of the €3,200 Shootout event.

Wade defeated a tough table including UKIPT winner Max Silver, PokerStars Pro Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier and James “flushy” Dempsey. In the final hand, Wade called a 4-bet all-in from Watson who held Ah-5h, showing J-J and holding without a sweat.

In other WSOPE events the €10,400 Split NL “Mix-Max” is down to a final 16 players, who are all in the money and guaranteed €26,618. They will now play heads-up to a winner, who will walk away with €336,008. Still in contention are Michael Mizrachi, Jason Mercier, Erik Seidel, Matt Waxman and chip leader Brian Powell.

The €1,650 PLO 6-max is the final event before the Main Event and is left with just 36 in-the-money players from a field of 339. Nicolas Fierro leads the way atop a top ten chip count also containing Jon Spinks, Victor Ramdin and Bryan Devonshire. The winner of this event will take home the bracelet and €124,584.
