Stacked final table in €3,200 Shootout

Thursday, 13 October 2011

A fast and furious Day 2 of the €3,200 NL Shootout event saw ten three-handed tables reduced to one final table of ten after an action-packed four hours. The result is a stacked final table with all players guaranteed €12,981 and the eventual bracelet-winner will take home €182,048.

Emil “whitelime” Patel, best known for being one of the stars of 2 Months, 2 Million was the first player to bust his table after defeating Tommy Vedes heads-up. He is joined by UKIPT champion Max Silver, who had to get through Terrance Chan and Vanessa Selbst; online grinder Tristan Wade; Taylor Paur; James “flushy” Dempsey and last but most certainly not least, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier who is seeking a second WSOP bracelet for 2011.

All of the players are already in the money, having locked up €6,913 for defeating their first ten-handed table with the final ten guaranteed five figures. It’s the bracelet – and €180k – that everyone has their eye on today, though. Everyone begins the final table with between 231,000 and 246,000 in chips.
