Sam Trickett leads €5,300 PLO final table

Wednesday, 12 October 2011

Sam Trickett equals beast. The young UK grinder has made yet another major final table in 2011, leading the chip counts at the final nine of the €5,300 PLO event at the WSOPE. Trickett, who has yet to win a WSOP bracelet despite several close calls, has almost double the chips of second-place Steve Billirakis.

This year Trickett has already final tabled a WPT side event; the Partouche Poker Tour Main Event; the $100,000 High Roller and $250,000 Super High Roller at the Aussie Millions. So far in 2011 he has earned $3.1m plus whatever he ships at Partouche. Now he could add a WSOPE bracelet to those accolades, though he has a tough final table to beat.

Joining him in the final nine are BlackBeltPoker’s Jerome Bradpiece, WSOP bracelet-winner Steve Billirakis and November Niner Eoghan O’Dea. All nine players are guaranteed at least €21,221 for their troubles with the winner set to take home €238,140.
