After two days of star-studded and epic poker action, the 195 survivors of Day 1a and Day 1b have merged into one intensely tough field to play out six more ninety minute blind levels on Day 2. We predicted 194 so props to us, we think.

It would be impossible to name every single poker legend that is gracing the felt today, but we will give you a few. Every single table features a WSOP bracelet; a WPT title, millions in online winnings or all three! We should note that the two players we feel most sorry for are Ronald Lee and Jani Sointula; out of position to Phil Ivey and Viktor “Isildur1” Blom respectively.

The following players have more than 90,000 (150 big blinds at 300/600/75) as play commences: Irish Open 2010 champion James Mitchell; WSOP November Niner John Dolan; Day 1a chip leader Nicolas Levi; actress-turned-WSOP-bracelet-winner Jennifer Tilly; Antonio “The Magician” Esfandiari; Event 1 champion Phil Laak; the man himself Phil Ivey and finally Viktor “Isildur1” Blom.

Those who will have to work to keep up with the pack include Chris Moorman, Jake Cody, Andrew “luckychewy” Lichtenberger and Alexander Kravchenko; all four have less than 20,000 in chips and will want to get something going if they are to make Day 3.
