Pre-final table table: 10 remain in WSOPE Main Event

Pre-final table table: 10 remain in WSOPE Main Event

Monday, 27 September 2010

The remaining ten players in the World Series of Poker Europe £10,350 No Limit Hold ‘em Championship have gathered around the televised feature table and will play until one more elimination gives us our final nine.

Ronald Lee is leading the field – the unknown quantity has three previous live cashes; all of them are min-cashes albeit at respectable events: the EPT Grand Final 2009; the WSOP Main Event and a $1,500 6-max NL WSOP event this year. In total his live winnings are around $70,000 but even a ninth place finish at the final table would more than double that.

Roland de Wolfe is arguably the most experienced tournament player out of the ten and with a WPT, EPT and WSOP bracelet he is one of two Triple Crown holders. Can he add the WSOPE to that resume for an unheard of Quadruple Crown? Marc Inizan is in the most precarious position as the shortest stack but Brian Powell is clinging to life on less than 400,000 as well.

The chip counts are as follows:

Ronald Lee – 1,826,000

Dan Fleyshman – 1,777,000

James Bord – 1,609,000

Roland de Wolfe – 1,312,000

Fabrizio Baldassari – 1,010,000

Nicolas Levi – 786,000

Daniel Steinberg – 526,000

David Peters – 472,000

Brian Powell – 375,000

Marc Inizan – 265,000
