Lee and Baldassari continue their war; Baldassari takes chip lead

Tuesday, 28 September 2010

On the river of a Q-9-5-K-A rainbow board, Fabrizio Baldassari silently slid out a stack of 25 chips totalling 675,000 into a pot that was already monstrous. Ronald Lee, impassive as ever, stared him down.

He thought it through for several long minutes, during which Fabrizio made like a statue and covered his face, moving only his eyes to occassionally glance at the still Lee.

Eventually Lee called and Fabrizio tabled a set of fives - they were good and the Italian was delighted, hissing "yes!" and pumping his fist as the monster pot - a total of more than 4,000,000.

Jack Effel just asked for a popularity contest - with Bord's rail that should be easy. Yup, he got by far the largest cheers.
