Goodbye Freddy

Goodbye Freddy

Sunday, 26 September 2010

Dinnertime at the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event and Andrew Pantling has become the first player to top the 1,000,000 mark and currently has about ten per cent of the chips in play. Phil Ivey has dropped down at the hands of Barny Boatman and Viktor Blom is still swinging between near chip leader and near busto.

Freddy Deeb is our most recent casualty, finishing in 30th place just before the break when his 9-9 was outdrawn by Roland de Wolfe’s K-8. This leaves us with 29 players remaining and just two more eliminations until we make the end of Day 3 and head into Day 4.

Until then, let’s eat.
