Paul Zimbler continues his heads-up marathon

Over 30 hours into his head-up challenge and Paul Zimbler actually looks rather dandy considering he has been up all through the night. He had managed a total of 92 consecutive heads-up games when I popped in, with the board above his head reading 46 -46 – and the charity pot well on its way to the £50,000 target.

He has already faced some top names including Doyle Brunson, Richard Ashby and Roberto Romanello – and over the next few days he will face several more in the form of Neil Channing, Jesse May, Devilfish, Vicky Coren, The Hendon Mob, Annette Obrestad, Sorel Mizzi, John Tabatabai, Michael Greco and Teddy Sheringham.


However, and i know St John’s Ambulance are in the vicinity to monitor his health, but surely it’s only a matter of time before all the chip ruffling and fair-ground-like melodies blasting from the slot machines start eating into his sanity...
