Day 1b updates...

Sunday, 27 September 2009

The atmosphere here at the Empire during day 1b of the WSOPE Main Event has been rather subdued in comparison to yesterday’s day 1a. Then again, most of the people that congregated yesterday were probably all employed by Philius Maximus Hellmuthius to make it look like he had fans. Either way, it looks like people actually believe that strange fallacy that Sunday is a day of rest because rail birds are few and far between.

As we enter the short tea-break, blinds are now up to 150/300 with running antes and Hendon mobster, Ram Vaswani, leads the field with 95,000.

In other news, Chris Ferguson decided to show up, be it almost three hours late, taking his seat at the feature table. Chips counts for the feature table at the break are as follows:

Seat 1: Annette Obrestad -- 46,150
Seat 2: Sam Trickett -- 44,200
Seat 3: Daniel Negreanu -- 27,825
Seat 4: Vaklinov -- 9,050
Seat 5: Ray Dehkarghani -- 49,525
Seat 6: Barry Greenstein -- 14,200
Seat 7: James Keys -- 36,625
Seat 8: Moshin Charania -- 24,325
Seat 9: Chris Ferguson -- 16,200
