Series organisers have confirmed that the 2013 World Series of Poker Europe is set to feature seven bracelet events including for the first time a €25,600 High Roller event.
The series will run from its new home near Paris from 12 - 25 October starting with a €1,000+€100 NLHE re-entry tournament. Other highlights include a Mixed-Max No-Limit event and a new Mixed-Max Pot-Limit Omaha event, plus standard Pot-Limit Omaha and No-Limit Hold’em events, and of course, the €10,000 + €450 buy-in No Limit Hold’em Main Event. (Note: French law only allows Hold’em and Omaha games). These seven tournaments will be sanctioned gold bracelet events. In addition to the seven bracelet events there will be 48 non-bracelet side tournaments as well as plenty of cash action. Series organisers also confirmed that the 2013 will be televised by Eurosport. “New tournament dates and 12 million Parisians have us aiming for the largest Main Event in Europe,” said WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart. “Baguettes and Bracelets; Champagne and Cash; we think is a winning recipe for the 2013 WSOP Europe.” The full schedule can be found at WSOP.com.
