All eyes were on Daniel Negreanu as he aimed for his fifth WSOP bracelet in the $1.5k PL Hold'em. In the end it was Nick Jivkov who took the title with Kid Poker busting in fifth. We look forward to hearing this week's rant. Elsewhere, there's a stacked final table in the Seven Card Stud.

Event #5 $1.5k PL Hold'em - Negreanu misses out


All eyes were on Daniel Negreanu at the start of the $1.5k PL Hold'em event as he aimed for his fifth WSOP bracelet. Kid Poker was unlucky to bust in fifth when his AQ couldn't hold up against Nick Jivkov's AJ.


Negreanu was one of five players eliminated by Jivkov who eventually sealed the bracelet after beating Bryan Pellegrino heads up.


John Eames was the sole British representative at the final table, busted in eighth for $18,529.

Event #7 $1.5k Seven Card Stud – Williams heads stacked final table


The 110 remaining players in the $1.5k Seven Card Stud were whittled down to a final table of nine and quite the final table it is too. Leading the way is former Main Event runner up David Williams followed by Andy Bloch and Barry Greenstein in second and third.


The final nine are guaranteed at least $9,046 with the winner walking away with $126,363.
