The stacked HORSE field is down to just 15 with some very familiar names still in the hunt. Elsewhere, former World Champ Joe Cada heads the 19 remaining players in the $1.5 No Limit Hold'em.

$10k HORSE - Monnette, Hellmuth and Ivey still in


The 178 starters in the $10k HORSE event are down to just 15 with John Monnette leading the way. This year's $5k Five Card Stud bracelet winner will start the final day with 825,00 chips ahead of David Bach on 645,000 and David 'Bakes' Baker on 574,000.


Phil Hellmuth is handily placed to win a second bracelet at this year's WSOP returning in fourth place. Other notables still chasing the $451,779 first prize include Brandon Shack, John Hennigan, Scott Clements and Dan Kelly. Phil Ivey is hanging in there too but will have his work cut out with a stack of just 102,000 to play with.

$1.5k No Limit Hold'em – Former World Champion Joe Cada leads


Former World Champion Joe Cada is the big story going into the final day of the $1.5k No Limit Hold'em event. Just 19 of the 2,811 starters are left with the 2009 Main Event holding the chip lead. Cada chipped up just before the close to finish with a stack of 1,869,000 putting him just ahead of Michael Aron 1,745,000 Valentyn Shabelnyk 1,391,000 and Cherish Andrews 1,383,000 who are also in the seven-figure stack club.


Other notables still standing include Adam Kornuth, Carter Phillips, JC Tran and Dwyte Pilgrim. British hopes rest with Surrey's Najib Kamand who returns as the short stack with 142,000.


Players eliminated yesterday who made the money included Terrence Chan 20th, James Akenhead 37th, Ted Forrest 45th, William Reynolds 80th and Priyan de Mel 89th.
