Heinz up to 44m after taking huge pot

Sunday, 6 November 2011

It's taken a while but we've finally had out first major clash at this year's final table.

Pius Heinz raised to 1.3m, Ben Lamb called and Eoghan O'Dea, sending a squeeze put in a raise to 4.1m. Heinz tanked a little before calling with Lamb getting out of the way.

O'Dea bet 4.6m on the 8c8d4c board which Heinz called. The Irishman fired 8.2m when a 2c on the turn arrived. It took a while to come but the German's move was a decisive all in for 16m. It didn't take quite as long for O'Dea to muck.

The Dubliner is now down to 11m chip with Heinz past the 40m mark.
