As expected another big field was on hand for one of the more affordable $1,500 No Limit Hold'em events. All told, 2,192 players bought in creating a prize pool of almost $3m with the winner set to walk away with over $500k.

Leading the way is Jon Spinks who bagged up an impressive 133,600 at the close of play, just ahead of Gabriel Aleria who finished the day with 122,800. There are plenty of familiar names dotted amongst the 320 day 1 survivors including Justin 'BoostedJ' Smith, Bryan Devonshire and event #8 winner Sean Getzwiller. Sam Trickett heads the British challenge, his 44,100 stack putting him ninth in the overnight chip counts.

Notable bust outs included Tom 'Durrrr' Dwan, Liv Boeree, Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier and Antonio Esfandiari.

The money bubble is nearing with 216 players guaranteed to walk away with at least $3,018. Join us tomorrow to see who is that step closer to the half million dollar payday.
