WSOP 2011 – Chris Moorman second with 22 left in $2,500 6-max

Friday, 17 June 2011

The second day of the online-packed $2,500 6-max No Limit Hold ‘em event has seen the field of 1,378 whittled all the way down to just 22 players and well into the money. Anthony Ruberto leads the field with over 1.5m in chips but right behind him is UK player and online MTT giant Chris “moorman1” Moorman.

You can check out our interview with Chris Moorman here where he talks about keeping up with the younger generation (he’s 25) and he’s proven himself admirably by taking over ten per cent of the chips – and nearly three times the average stack – into Day 3. He is by far the biggest name left in contention and a strong candidate for the bracelet.

All 22 remaining players have $20,377 to look forward to tomorrow but at the final table of six the payouts begin at $84,549 for sixth place and climb all the way to the first place prize – plus bracelet – of $689,739.
