WSOP 2010 starts today

Friday, 28 May 2010

Here it is then. The big one. The 2010 World Series Of Poker starts today and Bluff Europe will be there every step of the way with extensive coverage of all 57 tournaments right through to the Main Event.

The opening day is very much a case of little and large with the $500 Casino Employees event and the $50,000 Player's Championship both starting today. A host of the biggest names in the game will pony up the massive $50,000 buy in for the Poker Player's Championship which will feature Limit Hold'em, Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better, Seven Card Razz, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split-8 or Better, No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball. The first of six $1,000 No Limit Hold'em events starts tomorrow with $1,500 Omaha Hi Lo Split 8 or Better rounding off the weekend action.

So what can we look forward to over the next few weeks? Will Phil Ivey add to his extensive bracelet collection and win a stack of cash in props bets with Howard Lederer? Will the likes of Patrik Antonius, Durrrr and Andy Bloch finally break their WSOP duck? Will the British contingent have as good a year as they did last year? Who will follow in the footsteps of Joe Cada and become the new World Champion?

The best way of course is to join us at Bluff Europe for updates and reports plus all the news, views and gossip from what promises to be a fantastic few weeks.
