Yet another $1,000 NL event has gotten underway at the 2010 World Series of Poker and with both opening flights complete the survivors from each Day 1 will meet up to form a field of 455 players with the money bubble bursting at 324 remaining.

Shannon Elizabeth, James Akenhead, David Bach, Victor Ramdin, Men Nguyen, Chino Rheem,David Singer, Ylon Schwartz, George Lind, Gavin Griffin, Michael Mizrachi, Jimmy Fricke, Antonio Esfandiari and Allek Kessler all failed to survive Day 1b but that doesn’t mean we’ll be devoid of big names.


Chip leader Ryan D’Angelo, up to 68,000 from his 3,000 starting stack, is the one to watch as play resumes tomorrow; November Niner Antoine Saout is still alive in the field also. The first prize has been set at a tasty $481,760.
