Phil Ivey challenging for $3,000 HORSE title

Monday, 21 June 2010

Event #37 kicked off with a surprisingly large field of 478, creating a total prize pool of almost $1.5m. At the close of Day two there are just 25 players left in contention for the bracelet and the first prize of $329,840.

Chad Brown, Jeff Lisandro and David Benyamine are all still alive in the small field but they're all behind the man sitting in seventh place in the chip counts – one Mr. Philip Ivey.

Ivey chipped up throughout the day in all the right places to accrue a stack of 200,000 but even the Great One can’t touch chip leader John Juanda who bagged up 393,000 by the end of the night.

Play concludes tomorrow; join us to find out if Ivey took it down as well as the inevitable bracelet bets.

The top ten chip counts are as follows:

1 John Juanda 393,000
