Event #28 - Miguel Proulx leads $2.5k PLO

Thursday, 17 June 2010

Just 12 of the 596 starters remain in the $2.5k PLO event with Canadian Miguel Proulx leading an international line up.

The Quebecois leads the field going into the final day followed by Frenchman Patrick Hanoteau. Michael Greco is the only remaining Briton in the field. He'll start day nursing the second shortest stack but as we all know anything can happen in PLO.

Richard Ashby couldn't make it a bracelet double and was one of the high profile casualties on day two. Joining “Chufty” on the rail were fellow Brit John Shipley, former World Champion Joe Hachem, TJ Cloutier, Michael Binger and Sandra Naujoks.

All the remaining finishers are guaranteed at least $19,588, nice enough, but peanuts compared to the first prize of $315,311. Join us tomorrow to see whether the former EastEnder can win his first WSOP bracelet.
