Johnny Chan, Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer, Jeffrey Lisandro, Erik Seidel, Carlos Mortensen, Doyle Brunson, Huck Seed, Chris Ferguson, Barry Greenstein, Mike Matusow, Daniel Negreanu, Greg Mueller, Tom Schneider, and Billy Baxter. That’s just a small sample of the big names that turned out for the No Limit 2-7 Lowball $10,000 World Championship; it’s in fact just the pros with multiple WSOP bracelets.

Tommy Vedes was running away with the chip lead until Homan Houshiar racked up a stack of 116,100 towards the end, putting Vedes and his 112,600 stack into second place. Also at the top chip counts are Billy Baxter, Brandon Cantu and David Williams.


Daniel Negreanu, Tom Dwan, Andy Bloch, Erik Seidel, John Juanda, Barry
Greenstein, Todd Brunson, Daniel Alaei and Jason Mercier will all be among the 86 remaining players that return tomorrow from a field of 101 to play for WSOP glory and a first prize of $294,314.
