WSOP opens Hall Of Fame

Friday, 5 July 2013

The WSOP has announced that the nomination process for the latest round of inductees into its Hall Of Fame has begun with two spots being made available.

Poker fans and community members are being asked to suggest who should now join some of the sport’s most prestigious names in the Hall Of Fame with the WSOP also posting a series of guidelines.

Players nominated for the Hall Of Fame must be at least 40 years of age, have successfully played at the highest level, have competed consistently well during their career, have the respect of their peers, have thrived for a long period of time and positively contributed to the game.

Poker aficionados can nominate their favourite players here until August 15, after which time the names are set to go before a nominating committee for review.

A final list of worthy players will then be released before being forwarded to a selection of industry professionals and current Hall Of Fame members for their final picks.
