WSOP-Circuit event final table set

Wednesday, 22 December 2010

The 27 returning players were whittled down to a final table of nine after a rapid fire penultimate day of the WSOP-C Northeast Regional Championship in Atlantic City yesterday with Chris Klodnicki leading the way at the close.

Klodnicki has fond memories of WSOP Circuit events in Atlantic City having won his first gold ring at the $4,900 event there last year. He goes into the final table with the chip lead but will face stiff competition from the likes of 2010 WSOP PLO Hi Lo bracelet winner Chris Bell and WPT Legends of Poker winner Andy Frankenberger.

Recent WSOP-C winner Matthew Waxman looked set for another final table appearance but was the eventual final table bubble boy, his pocket nines unable to outrun Bell's pocket Queens. Other notables to hit the rail yesterday were Eugene Katchalov, Lee Childs, Sorel Mizzi, David Sands and Beth Shak.

The final table seat draw is as follows:

Seat 1: Chris Bell - 706,000
Seat 2: Micah Raskin - 594,000
Seat 3: Ketan Pandya - 377,000
Seat 4: Nick Mitchell - 332,000
Seat 5: Todd Terry - 307,000
Seat 6: Andy Frankenberger - 230,000
Seat 7: Jason Burt - 579,000
Seat 8: Chris Klodnicki - 759,000
Seat 9: Seth Fischer - 217,000

All nine remaining players are guaranteed a pay day of at least $32,362 with the winner set to take home $358,295. Join us tomorrow to see who bags a lovely Christmas bonus.
