WSOP Circuit Mississippi Day 2 final table set

WSOP Circuit Mississippi Day 2 final table set

Tuesday, 9 November 2010

The tournament currently taking place is actually better known as WSOP-C Biloxi but we just really like writing ‘Mississippi’. Despite the conclusion of the WSOP proper Main Event with Jonathan Duhamel taking the title as play continued in Biloxi, 270 players registered for the event.

Just 60 returned yesterday for Day 2 of the event at IP Resort and Casino with the intention of playing down to a final table and coming ever closer to the first prize of nearly $100,000. At present the nine remaining players are guaranteed $8,717.

Today the final table plays out with Travis Lutes and Farid Nasserazad – almost as fun to write as Mississippi – holding near-insurmountable chip leads over the other seven players. The chip counts are as follows:

1. Travis Lutes – 1,725,000
2. Farid Nasserazad – 1,697,000
3. Jason Cluxton – 589,000
4. Yair Alon – 404,000
5. John Holley – 315,000
6. Bob Talbot – 276,000
7. Jerry Monroe – 154,000
8. Robert Gunter – 144,000
9. Steven Marshall – 106,000
