Monday, 13 December 2010

Atlantic City, as anyone who has seen Rounders will know, is Vegas away from Vegas so a big turnout for the World Series of Poker Circuit $1,500 Main Event at Harrah’s Atlantic City was always going to have a big turnout. The 352 players that competed were whittled down to 71 by day’s end.

Racking up the most chips is Tam Ly, who built up to 287,600 throughout the course of the day. Todd Terry and Matt Glantz also managed to build up big stacks throughout the course of the day and will return with the final 71 tomorrow to play down to a final table.

The top thirty-six finishers are guaranteed a cash of $2,648 for just over a thousand dollars in profit but everyone is looking to the final table with a minimum payout of $11,073 and a first place prize of $117,797.
