The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Academy has announced that it will hold a special ladies-only camp at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The two-day camp, which is scheduled for June 8 to 9, will feature an all-star team of teachers which will reportedly include poker pro and WSOP bracelet winner Annie Duke, and Alex “The Insider” Outhred.
Participants will be treated to in-depth seminars, question-and-answer sessions, and live-hand demonstrations, all with a view to improving poker skills and play. Each player will also receive customised handbooks and will leave with a working knowledge of all Texas Hold’em strategies.
Additionally, former FBI agent Joe Navarro will give a new seminar on female-specific non-verbal behaviour.
At the end of the camp, a tourney will be hosted which will reward the top 10 finishers with a $1,000 buy-in for the 2007 WSOP Ladies Event.
The fee for the camp is $1,699 and accommodation is also available. More information is available at the official WSOP Academy’s website.
