WSOP 2012 schedule announced today: no November 9
Wednesday, 1 February 2012

The schedule for the World Series of Poker 2012 will be released later today but organisers have already confirmed via Twitter that there will be at least one big change. Namely, no November Nine.

An unconfirmed schedule has been posted on Two Plus Two with the Main Event rumoured to be dropping Day 1D. The tournament will now have only three starting days. In addition, other rumoured changes include the reduction of many buy-ins with more $3,000 and $5,000 events than the previous $10,000 events.

The official announcement is expected at around 6pm UK time.
