The World Poker Tour is set to return to Canada this year following the announcement of two stops during Season XI.
The popular Playground Poker Club in Montreal will be the first venue to host a WPT event in the form of the Canadian Spring Championships. This event is a new one for the WPT and will feature a CAD$3,300 buy-in Main Event and run from May 3rd to 9th.After leaving Canadian borders and touring the globe, the WPT bandwagon will return on November 29th for the second incarnation of WPT Montreal. The CAD$3,850 televised Main Event will run alongside a special High Roller which is expected to attract a slew of famous faces.
