The inaugural World Poker Tour London Classic is just around the corner and there is still time to qualify for the £5,300 Main Event.

PartyPoker is hosting a series of live qualifiers at the Palm Beach Casino in Mayfair. The £300+£30 shootouts take place every every night at 7pm with the top five finishers making the money with the winner claiming the Main Event seat worth £5,300. Players will compete at six handed tables with the field capped at 36 runners.


Genting Casinos London Poker Manager Simon Tomsett said: "Our first WPT Shootout at The Palm Beach Casino was an instant sell out and rewarded one seat into the Main Event. There are plenty of good value chances to qualify for the Main Event between now and the 30th August. From the 27th August there is also additional satellites taking place at the Kingsway Hall and May Fair Hotels."

£300 + £30 - 16th - 26th August - WPT Shootout Satellites (Nightly at 7pm), The Palm Beach Casino, 30 Berkeley Street, London W1J 8EH


£250 + £25 (rebuy) - 27th August - Main Event Satellite, 12pm, Kingsway Hall, 66 Great Queen Street, London, WC2B 5BX


£500 + £50 - 28th August - Main Event Satellite, 12pm, Kingsway Hall, 66 Great Queen Street, London, WC2B 5BX


£1,000 + £80 - 29th August - Super Satellite, 3pm, The May Fair Hotel, Stratton Street, London, W1J 8LT


The WPT Classic Main Event takes place at the Palm Beach Casino from 30th August to 4th September with the £15,000 High Roller event running from 3rd to 5th September.
