WPT Goes Belgian

WPT Goes Belgian

Friday, 21 December 2012

Belgium has played host of top international sporting action including Olympic Games, Champions League finals and European Championships but never an event on the World Poker Tour. Until now that is.

Tour organisers have confirmed that they will be heading to the home of the famous pissing boy (Manneken Pis) for WPT National Brussels next year. The €1,500 buy-in Main Event will take place at the city's Casino Brussels @Viage from 14th to18th February 2013. A host of side events and satellites also scheduled, starting from 11 February, with buy-ins ranging from €50 to €750.

Full event schedule can be found here:

One person who will definitely be playing is Winamax pro and WPT, EPT and WSOP champion Davidi Kitai. The Belgian will be hoping to add to his almost $3m in tournament earnings and will be acting as an ambassador for the event.

And here's what players can expect in the Belgian capital.
