WPT Foxwoods World Poker Finals - Final Ten Set

WPT Foxwoods World Poker Finals - Final Ten Set

Monday, 10 November 2008

While the WSOP comes to its conclusion in Las Vegas, there's a $1.2m first prize being fought for at Foxwoods. Bluff Europe favourite Mike Matusow is at the top of the chip counts with ten players remaining.

Thirty-three players returned and were to play for five levels or down to nine players, whichever was first. In the opening two levels Gavin Smith, Phil Ivey and Freddy Deeb were lost, while Kevin Saul and Billy Gazes made a good run before finally falling just before the final table.

The final table itself is another quality affair with chip leader Matusow joined by David Pham and Jonathan Little amongst others. Players will return shortly to find out who the final six are. They won't have to three months to play for the cash though, with the final table resumming on Tuesday.

Final table with chip counts:
Seat 1: David Pham - 1,242,000
Seat 2: Jonathan Jaffe - 1,780,000
Seat 3: Jonathan Little - 1,407,000
Seat 4: Dimitri Haskaris - 945,000
Seat 5: Tom Nguyen - 615,000
