Friday, 4 January 2013

The World Poker Tour made its annual stop in Dublin yesterday for four days of action and, of course, Guinness.

Taking place at the Citywest Hotel and sponsored by PKR.com, the event has already seen some well respected names eager to get 2013 off to a winning start.

In addition to PKR’s finest, including Vladimir Geshkenbein, Scott Shelley and Sofia Lovgren, the likes of James Dempsey and Andy Black are in attendance.

Day 1a of the 1,320 Main Event came to a conclusion yesterday and after a cagey day of action it was Jeremy Nock who topped the chip counts with 227,200 chips.

Jeremy Nock 227,200
Noel O'Brien 158,000
