WPT Cyprus Ready for Big Game

WPT Cyprus Ready for Big Game

Wednesday, 7 August 2013

As the WPT prepares to make its way to the shores of Cyprus for the Merit Classic, PartyPoker has just announced details of its Big Game which will take place during the festival.

Featuring the likes of Sam Trickett, Daniel “Jungleman” Cates and the Mizrachi clan (Michael, Robert, Eric and Donny), the $50/$100 (with a $200 straddle) cash game will be a mix of bets and bravado as players try to win as much money as possible.

Indeed, based on the game’s usual premise, the action will be feature viewers’ discretion which means one player will be voted out of the game and replaced by someone more exciting.

Presiding over the action from the commentary booth alongside Kara Scott will be Jesse May and interested observers will be able to catch a live stream of the event (with hole cards included) on August 15.

PartyPoker's Big Game will form just one of events set to take place at the Merit Crystal Cover Casino and Resort between August 12 and August 26. Indeed, alongside the $4,400 WPT Main Event, which carries a $1 million guarantee, will be 34 side events with a combined prizepool of $3 million.

Away from the poker table the likes of Marvin Rettenmaier (who won the event last year) will be able to enjoy a full holiday package, including a beach party featuring world-famous DJ Eric Cubeechee and Britain’s Got Talent dance troupe Girls Rock.
