Monday, 1 June 2015

World Poker Tour event organisers had better make sure that their passports are up to date as the opening half of the Season XIV schedule is a truly international affair.

Tour chiefs have just confirmed the line-up for the opening half of the new season which will include stops in such far-flung locations as St Kitts, Montenegro and South Korea.

“During Season XIII, we celebrated the historic achievements of players like Darren Elias and Hublot WPT Player of the Year Anthony Zinno; crowned WPT Champions Club members in seven different countries; debuted the extremely successful partypoker presents: WPT500 series in both Las Vegas and the United Kingdom; and embarked on a brand new journey with the WPTDeepStacks Poker Tour,” said WPT President Adam Pliska.

“With 40 events already scheduled in 19 different countries on four different continents, we look forward to continued growth and success in Season XIV, and we can’t wait to again host our loyal players and fans at their favourite venues around the world.”

Of most interest to UK-based readers will be a trio of events scheduled in England. First up is the partypoker WPT National London at Aspers from 30 July to 2 August.

A visit to Nottingham for the partypoker WPT500 at Dusk Till Dawn is next from 28 October to 1 November with the $3,500 partypoker WPT UK, also at Dusk Till Dawn, following from 3-8 November.
