Online poker website Pokerstars.com, Bluff Media and Bluff Poker Radio have announced that they have joined forces to produce and broadcast the final tables from the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP).
The PokerStars.com WCOOP features 18 separate poker tournaments which began on September 16 and will run to October 1. The competition is expected to attract over 20,000 players and a prize pool of $13,000,000, making it the third largest poker event in the world.
“As the official radio partner of the World Series of Poker, Bluff proved to be the leading radio broadcaster of poker,” Eric Morris, co-President of Bluff Media said. 'To now work with Pokerstars and broadcast the World's largest online tournament is a natural progression for Bluff Poker Radio.
“Bluff Poker Radio has the know-how to produce high-quality live poker and analysis which they clearly demonstrated in their WSOP broadcasts,” said Dan Goldman, vice-president of marketing for PokerStars. “We look forward to this same high standard in our WCOOP live broadcasts.'
Pokerstars poker pros and WSOP Main Event winners, Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, and Joe Hachem are a few of the big names providing poker analysis on the broadcast.
