The Virgin Poker Festivals have proved to be a real hit with the grassroots and professional players in the UK. With pros such as Lucy Rokach and Maria Demetriou attending the last festival in Newcastle, the news of the third instalment will be held

The Virgin Poker Festivals have proved to be a real hit with the grassroots and professional players in the UK. With pros such as Lucy Rokach and Maria Demetriou attending the last festival in Newcastle, the news of the third instalment will be held at the Dusk Till Dawn card Mecca in Nottingham on the 28th & 29th June provides another chance for rookies to take on the pros.
The Virgin Poker Festival main event is a £105 two day deepstack event with £5000 added by Virgin Poker. The company hope to organise a big tournament with a small buy in, as well as giving players a chance to have fun along the way.
The only way to qualify for the tournament is through satellites on Virgin Poker, so players who are interested should get over there quick to make sure they book their place in Nottingham.
The satellite schedule is as follows:
Festival Weekly (€15 + €1.50): Every Sunday at 19.30 BST.
One seat up for grabs for every ten players.
Festival Satellite (€1.65 + €0.15): Everyday at 20.30 BST.
Win your seat to the Festival Weekly tournament.
Festival Super Rebuy (€7 + €0.70): Every Thursday at 20.15 BST.
One rebuy allowed when a players has under 500 chips + 1 add on after 60 minutes.
