PKR Live III Main Event took place over the weekend at London’s Loose Cannon with $5 satellite qualifier Vincent ‘vd12345’ Diver scooping the $33,500 1st prize.
Unfortunately, Bluff Europe magazine’s very own Philip Conneller was unable to make the event and thus was helpless as his title from the previous year was ripped away from him by the young Diver.Diver, who took an early chip lead after his AA held against the QQ of ‘HYPERGAMBLER, proceeded to manoeuvre himself through the strong field during the two day event, to eventually set himself heads-up with UK tournament circuit regular Toby 'badboy579' Lewis. Diver slowly chipped away at his rival’s stack until the decisive hand brought him victory and a significant bankroll boost when his pocket twos held up for the win.The $200 Bounty tournament was taken down by well-known PKR player – Irishman Karl ‘karlthekiller’ Sinnott - who outlasted a strong field to scoop $5,778.
