Viktor “Isildur1” Blom wins over $1m in less than a day

Poor old Artist Formerly Known As Ziigmund, eh? Just last week we reported that he had had an amazing time of it at the Omaha tables on PokerStars, not only digging himself out of the $880k hole his “Ilari_FIN” PokerStars account was in but also going some way to eradicate his Full Tilt deficit.

Well, fortunes change. This weekend, Sahamies lost every cent and more at the Omaha tables, where Viktor “Isildur1” Blom took more than $750k from him in a match that saw the young Swede hit every draw to run $500k above EV and score a decisive victory. This came after Isildur1 had already taken $400k from Sahamies earlier in the day.

It took three hours at the $100/$200 PLO tables against Sahamies for Blom to take $726k from the beleaguered Finn, taking his total to more than $1.1m in less than 24 hours. Sahamies published a blog update on Coinflip.com soon after, stating that “I played very weak and it was fair that I lost... good thing is that the money went to Isildur and not to any “nit” guys...”
