Vegas Crash Driver Released from Prison

Wednesday, 17 September 2014

Ryan Brown, the man who crashed his truck through the glass doors of the Stratosphere Casino last week, has been released from prison reports the Las Vegas Review Journal.

Known as one of the most visually imposing structures on Vegas, the casino was shaken by incident last Wednesday after Brown veered across the strip and burst straight through the doors.

Soon after his kamikaze parking display Brown ran from the scene, but he was picked up later that day by local police officers.

Listening to the case earlier this week, a Vegas judge heard Brown admit that he'd been taking drugs for several days prior to the incident.

On top of that, the truck also contained 1 gram of crack cocaine and Brown admitted to the judge that he wanted to jump from the top of the tower.

Making his decision, the judge decided to release Brown from jail without bail ahead of a court appearance on October 15th.
