Vanessa Selsbt leads Partouche Poker Tour Grand Final

Wednesday, 8 September 2010

Despite the presence of big names like Tom Dwan and Phil Ivey the Partouche Poker Tour Grand Final in Cannes has slipped under the radar somewhat. Over €5.5m in prize money is up for grabs with Vanessa Selbst in prime position to take the title.

The field has been whittled down to nine with the final table reconvening in November to battle it out for the big money. All the players are guaranteed at least €115,000 with the winner set to pocket €1.3m.

2008 WSOP PLO bracelet holder and recent NAPT Mohegan Sun winner Vanessa Selbst holds the chip lead with WPT Spain winner Ali Tekintamgac and EPT Grand Final High Roller champion Tobias Reinkemeier likely to be her biggest rivals.

The final table chip counts are as follows:

Vanessa Selbst, 3,951,000
Fabrice Soulier, 3,652,000
Raouf Ibrahim, 3,492,000
Ali Tekintamgac, 3,289,000
Tommi Etelapera, 3,129,000
Raphael Kroll, 2,390,000
Soren Konsgaard, 1,073,000
Tobias Reinkemeier, 819,000
Cyril Andre, 600,000
