The Unibet Open promises to be one of the highlights of this year's London Poker Festival and there's an opportunity to qualify for the £1,500 Main Event in a Super Satellite tonight.
The qualifier at Aspers Casino in Stratford gets under way at 8pm and is a £100+£10 rebuy affair with the rebuys. Stacks start at 3,000 chips with a double add on of 6,000 chips also available. A second Super Satellite follows at the same time tomorrow.The tournament itself starts at noon on Thursday with a second opening flight getting under way at midday on Friday. Other events on the docket are a £200+£20 Heads Up at 2pm on Thursday. The action continues on Friday with a £150 Ladies tournament at 7pm, a two-day £500 NL HE event at 8pm and £150 flips tournament at 10pm. A £200 Omaha bounty follows at 4pm on Saturday with a £200 Random Bounty starting at 8pm. The action is rounded off on Sunday with a sportsbook event for Unibet qualifier and a £200 six-max event at 4pm.Dutchman Paul Valkenburg won the Unibet Open in 2011, outlasting a 273 runner field to pocket £109,550.
