Gambler sues New Jersey police

David Connor Castellani, a 20-year-old from New Jersey, is suing police for alleged unwarranted brutality after he got kicked out of a casino.

According the reports, Castellani was removed from the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City for being underage. He was then accosted by police and beaten severely, captured on video.

Despite the harrowing scenes depicted on film, Castellani is facing charges of assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, and harming a police dog. The Chief of Police is recorded as saying to NBC10 “I saw the tape, and I saw no reason to suspend or remove the officers from their regular duties.”
